As one of the area’s most experienced maternity centers, Bethesda Memorial Hospital knows babies. Our team of experts is with your family every step of the way, from finding the right physician to answering late-night questions once baby is home. Our prenatal classes, led by certified maternal-child nurse educators, help moms and dads prepare for the big day.

It is also comforting to know that Bethesda’s Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is staffed by a neonatologist 24 hours a day, providing the highest level of care for newborns. Our Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit enables us to take care of the most critically ill babies, some weighing less than a pound. In addition, the Bethesda Children’s Center offers comprehensive care for children including a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
